A Research On The Influence Of Life Events To Subjective Well-being Of The Married Women

As an important research subject,subjective Well-being has been paid more and more attention in social psychology field. Taking170married women as the target aspect, using Subjective Well-being Scale and the Life Events Scale, this paper tried to survey the married women’s sense of subjective well-being and their life events. It discussed the differences in age, income, areas and education, and how the life events influence the subjective well-being of married woman.,to expand the correlative theory on subjective well-being and provide certain theoretical basis for social intervention study. The results show that:(1)The subjective well-being of married women is in the middle-upper level, consistent with the findings of the study on adults’ subjective well-being.(2)The sense of subjective well-being differs sharply in the aspests of age, income, areas and education. According to the age category,46older women’s subjective well-being level is the highest, women aged27and the below,their subjective well-being is the minimum; And it also shows that, the more money the married women earn,the higher their subjective well-being level is; the result also tells that, the urban married women subjective well-being level is higher than the rural; Finally, based on education category, married women with college degree showd the highest subjective well-being level, and the level is the minimum in high school degree.(3)Life events also differ a lot in the above four aspects.(4)Life events has certain influence on subjective Well-being level of married women,range from family life events, working life events, to interpersonal and other life events Especially the family life events Besides,the multiple regression analysis shows that, negative life events tells more about the sense of subjective well-being.
