Research On Relationships Of College Students’ View Of Human Nature With Parents’ Way Of Raising Children, Family Intimacy And Adaptability

The education of human nature is the starting point of all kinds of education, and thestudy of human nature must be linked with the family, which is the initial place of humannature education. This paper focuses on characteristics of family intimacy and adaptabilityof college students, the parents’ way of raising their children and human nature view indemographic variables. What’s more, this paper also analyzes the internal relationshipamong the above factors and draws conclusions as follows:⑴Family intimacy and adaptability of college students, the parents＇ way of raisingtheir children and the view of human nature vary in gender, the only child or not, regiondifferences, different college admittance batch and grades.⑵College students＇ family intimacy and adaptability have remarkably negativecorrelations with their sense of being highly critical of the society, and the actualadaptability in the family can be seen as a predictor whether college students will becynical. Family intimacy and adaptability have positive correlations with some trustworthyfactors. And the ideal family intimacy and adaptability have no remarkable relationshipwith factors of human nature.⑶The factors like affection and understanding in parentｓ＇way of raising childrenhave positive relationship with and remarkable linear prediction to students＇familyintimacy and adaptability. In contrast, factors like severe punishment and disapprovalachieve the negative effects.⑷College students＇view of human nature is linked with their parents. Fathers＇harshpunishment, refusal, disapproval and overprotection as well as mothers＇ excessiveinterference, overprotection and severe punishment are related to students＇being critical.Trustworthy factors are positively connected with parents＇affection and negatively linkedto fathers＇ punishment, refusal and disapproval.At last, according to the research findings, we put forward the theoretical and practicalsuggestions towards family education, ideological and political education and mentalhealth.
