The purpose of this study is comparing and analyzing the function an d usage of social appellation, then finds the similarities and differ ences from different aspects in Korean and Chinese language. Appellat ion is a key to open the door of verbal communication and is the firs t step in communication; it occupies a very important role. While eve ry language appellation words reflect the people’s social structure, cultural, way of thinking and characteristics of national psychologic al characteristics. Because of this, it is difficult to master, espec ially for foreign language learners. For them, it is easier to be int erfered by their native errors. Korean appellation is closely associa ted with respectful words. As the situation changes, the appellation also should change. This is also a big challenge for foreigners to le arn Korean. Therefore, this study will compare and analyze the social appellation between Korean and Chinese, and then put forward the app ropriate education, in order to help Chinese students to learn Korean better.Based on the previous studies, Chapter two discussed the concept an d types of titles, especially for the alleged appellation and two cat egories, and the difference between the object of instructions made k ey controls. In the symmetric predicate part, I divided it into the r elative’s appellation terms and social appellation, and make detaile d classification to the two types.Chapter three divided the social appellation into four types, dire ctly name, name of the position, common name and alternative name, ty pes are analyzed in detail, which includes the difference between Kor ean and Chinese modern social appellation, the performance of the fun ctions and usage of the appellation and how to practice application. It is also cared by us which are the differences of social appellatio ns between the two countries, and what the causes of these phenomena are.Then chapter4has approached the historical changes for social add ress forms of Korea and China and stated the educational significance of comparative study in the paper, its changes directly response to the change of age, meanwhile, the change of age will also influence t he social address forms. In writer’s opinion, it is a kind of more o perative educational channel to introduce related social changes whenteaching address forms individually in the process of Korean languag e teaching activity.Then chapter4has approached the historical changes for social add ress forms of Korea and China and stated the educational significance of comparative study in the paper, its changes directly response to the change of age, meanwhile, the change of age will also influence t he social address forms. Through the comprehensive analysis t o help the students whose mother tongue is Chinese learners’learnin g Korean society appellation to overcome the language interference, a nd correctly understand and use Korean society call language, but sti11exist certain flaws.Because of the huge quantities of the data which collected from the two countries, we can do only one specific analysis of the words tha t have high frequency. In addition education plan of social appellati on between the two countries in practice need supplement and correcti on continually. This article will unremittingly expand their knowledg e field, in the future research supplemented unceasingly.
