The Heilongjiang Basin refers to the vast areas in the south of the Stanovoy Range, the north of Heilongjiang River, the Wusuli River Basin as well as Sakhalin Island. The Tsar Russia began to invade and harass Heilongjiang River Basin from the end of sixteenth century to the beginning of the seventeenth century, and there were two wars resisting the Tsar Russia’s invasion by Qing and Korean allied forces occurring in Heilongjiang River Basin, namely, the Wars of Songhua River and of Heilongjiang River. As a point cut by two wars, the paper deals with negotiations on two wars between Qing, Korea and Russia at the early stage of Qing Dynasty by analyzing background, process and results of two wars deeply. It mainly discusses invasion and harassing to the Heilongjiang River Basin at the early stage, control measures to Heilongjiang River basin taken by Qing Dynasty, and development of relations between Qing, Korea and Russia.This paper consists of six chapters, including introduction, four chapters of main body and conclusions.The first chapter is the introduction, which is divided into three parts. The first part introduces the research purpose and meaning of the paper, the second one presents current studies on relevant issues in academic circles at home and abroad, and the third one sets forth research methods and innovative points in the paper.The second chapter deals with situations of the Heilongjiang River Basin and relations between Qing and Korea at the beginning of Qing Dynasty. Firstly, it discusses administration of Heilongjiang River Basin by the Qing Dynasty, mainly including administration of the Basin during periods of Qing Taizu, Qing Taizong and Qing Shizu. Secondly, it gives the relations between Qing and Korea at the beginning of Qing Dynasty, where the vassal relations and relations of two countries are explored. At last, it touches on Russia’expedition to the Heilongjiang River Basin, mainly introducing activities of scout teams at five times and aggressor troops dispatched by the Tsar Russia led by Poyarkov and Khabarov.Chapter3presents the War of Songhua River and relations between three countries. It first introduces Qing’s administration of the middle and downstream of the Basin facing Tsar Russia’s invasion; second, it tells entire process of the War of the Songhua River, and at last it draws the conclusion on preliminary mutual understandings between three countries by analyzing contacts between three countries.Chapter4gives the War of the Heilongjiang River and relations between three countries. By analyzing the War, it explores the mutual deepening understandings between three countries.Chapter5is development of three countries’relations after wars. It analyzes systematically changing situations between Qing and Russia in the Basin, and the official international exchanges between countries. It introduces factors influencing attitude change of Korea by Qing, as well as inoculation of official international exchanges between Korea and Tsar Russia with both mutual deep understandings.Chapter6is the conclusion which is draw by summing up the whole text. It introduces changes of relations between three countries through two Wars of Songhua River and Heilongjiang River.
