Subjective well-being indicates the overall evaluation to an individual’s life quality based on his own standards, including two parts of contents:cognitive and emotional experience. Lots of foreign researchers and experts have been done the corresponding research on subjective well-being and obtained a lot of brilliant performance and results which offer lots of valuable experience and abundant literature materials for later researchers to use for reference. But subjective well-being as a fashion and hot domain exists many ambiguous and most of the field haven’t been explored. It’s also lack of localization of research. Hence, this research developed this middle school student’s scale on the basis of previous observation. This scale is to study the structure of middle school student’s subjective well-being in school life and the condition of their school life.The main results obtained are as follows:(1) The middle school student’s subjective well-being scale consisting11items contains3factors:positive emotion, negative emotion and teacher-student relationship. Positive emotion consists3items, negative emotion consists3items and teacher-student relationship consists4items.(2) The middle school student’s subjective well-being scale is of high reliability and fair validity. The scale’s internal consistency reliability (α coefficient) was0.865. Concerning the construct validity, the result of twice exploring factor analysis showed that the3factors extracted could account for more than60%, and the correlation coefficient between factors also reached significance. And concerning the content validity, four psychology graduate students and three experts and professors in Zhejiang Normal University have evaluated the scale, respectively.(3) High school students in the school subjective well-being in above-average levels, middle school students in school life can feel the relative more happiness;(4) The middle school student’s subjective well-being scale showed that there was a significant correlation between different factors of personal, family and school.
