Academic procrastination is regarded as the delay of task, especially about study, work, or complete the academic work, this delay lead to learners with emotion. In the students’academic procrastination in life are very common, many students be bothered by the academic procrastination.In recent years, academic procrastination in the study mostly for college students, graduate groups payed less attention.Because the senior high school students of this stage just rose up out of the discipline of teachers, parents bound own self-management ability to lack, and thus, the delay behavior peaked. However, the graduate group delay behavior is also an unavoidable reality. This study carried out research from the following aspects:(1) pre-access through literature to understand the progress of existing research. Through the open questionnaire survey, depth interviews, and then two changes to pilot-test questionnaire, the project analysis, exploratory factor analysis,confirmatory factor analysis, reliability and validity testing, and ultimately the formation of a formal test questionnaire.(2) the delay status of graduate students understanding and analysis, and the relationship between gender, professional grade features, as well as each other but also further understanding.(3) the use of regression methods explored the relationship between the procrastination causes and procrastination tendencies.After the investigation,get the following conclusions:(1) the performance of a common academic activities of graduate in writing term papers/assignments, reading the academic literature, the paper/research report, read the literature, the task of four mentor arrangement, procrastination causes part is divided into three dimensions:self-management skills, stimulation seeking and emotional.(2) the revised questionnaire with a certain degree of reliability and validity, as in the future to understand the delays in the investigative tools of graduate students.(3) in the entire graduate student population, more than60%of individuals to procrastination behavior.(4) in four the learning activities, procrastination tendency from high to low in order for reading the academic literature, publication/research report, write academic papers/homework, teacher assignments.(5) on the score of procrastination tendencies between the sexes is no significant difference in grade, there were significant differences between professional.(6) in the procrastination causes of the acceptance of the dimension from high to low as follows:self-management skills, sensation seeking, emotional management.(7) in the total score of the delay causes, there were no significant difference between gender, but there are significant differences between the grades, professional.(8) In the study of academic procrastination causes, the ability of self management on academic procrastination tendency had significant predictive effect, but stimulate seek and emotional managementare not significant academic procrastination tendency.
