The Multi—Persective Study Of The"Shuo X Jiu X" In Modern Chinese

The usage frequency of the "Shuo X Jiu X" structure which is the commonly used expression forms of the contemporary Chinese is high; however the structure is given less systematic research by the academic circle. Under the guidance of three plane theory (syntax, semantic, pragmatic), through analyzing massive corpus and previous research, this paper discusses the structure from different aspects like internal constitution, syntactic level, semantic level, pragmatic dimension, structure diachronic development, etc.The thesis includes seven chapters:Chapter1:exordium.The exordium introduced the object of study, research commentary, and aim of the study about this thesis; In addition, the collection and source of the corpus are introduced in the paperChapter2:analysis of the structure.This chapter has analysis on the semantics and properties about the "Shuo" and "Jiu" in the structure, then emphatically analysis on the properties about the "X". On the grammatical quality, the "X" is adjectives or verb generally, when the "X" is verb, the structure could be word or phrase. The chapter also has analysis on the restriction of the structure to the "X":on syllable,"X" are monosyllabic generally; on semantics,"X" are independence action verbs with the semantic feature of [+autonomous][+action].Chapter3:research on syntactic sleep of the structure.This chapter has analysis on the syntactic function and probable syntactic function about the "Shuo X Jiu X". The structure could be predicate, attributive, object, and complement, even a separate sentence on the syntactic function.. The structure has used in declarative sentence more than in interrogative sentence, exclamatory sentence or imperative sentence.Chapter4:research on Semantic level about the structure.This chapter has analysis on the overall semantic of the structure by divided the structure into two groups (Already situation and no situation) with using the Time domain to be the basic point of reference.Chapter5:research on the pragmatic level of the structure.The structure could show the emotion of firmly, accident, surprised, dissatisfaction, blame, obey, and accept on pragmatics. The structure could be focus of information or background information on pragmatic types. Also the structure has the function of content linking, include, and indicate.Chapter6:research on the cause of formation and historical development of the structure.The structure was arising from "The Ming Dynasty". The semantic bleach and re-analysis to the inner elements caused the structure to be grammatically.Chapter7:concluding remarks.The chapter is the summary of the paper.
