Visual art is the human visual perception, the objective content into subjective mind, andbe the object of showing the kind of art form of decorative patterns, as a branch of visual arts,but also a creative visual, symbolic process through the use ofThe spread of visual elements,creative thinking, plan, and then convey to the audience. As an important part of the designbasis, the development of decorative patterns has been to become a more comprehensivediscipline undergone tremendous change with the changing of the background of the era ofthe change and the human spirit, creative themes and content. Variety performance of thecontent and shape of free, original ideas and the development of interdisciplinary, amongother factors, has become a clear trend of the designs, the creative process of visual thinkingand expand the research placed in decorative patterns has become a design re-being.This article is divided into four chapters on the first chapter part, mainly on thebackground at home and abroad on the subject, and visual thinking and decorative patternsare discussed; Chapter II tochapters for the core part of paper, starting from the generation ofvisual thinking and role performance, decorative graphic design and visual thinking andvisual thinking innovation and development of decorative patterns summarized and explainedin the classroom teachingbold teaching practice, and with a large number of case studies andstudent work; the last part of the paper concludes. Thesis of research purpose and significance,the use of theory with practice, combine the arts of the research method, layers of depth toanalyze the topic to discuss, research.In this study, the previous theory of the decorative patterns and visual thinking, on thebasis of an extension of the integration of visual thinking design elements with moderndecorative designs, creative thinking training "to be in theory, under the guidance of visualthinking, the use ofwill watch (Vision), imagination (of Imagination)(Composition) and otherinstitutions painted a variety of teaching methods combined with modern teaching mode, andre-elaborate on the content of the pattern class.This topic is to start from specific case studies and practical issues, focused on exploringthe decorative patterns in the visual mode of thinking development and innovation in thisprocess through the practice of research, from the perspective of visual thinking principle,study of the decorative pattern design and innovation,can understand the way of decorative patterns in the specific creation, to combine visual thinking for decorative designs.
