By reviewing the past studies about hypnosis, we found many foreign scholars’ research findings of hypnotic inner mechanism are different from each other. And we found the lack of domestic researches in this area. More scholars focused on the applied hypnosis researches, but some problems were still need to be explored such as why hypnosis works, how hypnosis works and so on. So we tried to use Stroop task to discuss the effects of hypnotic susceptibility, relaxation and task suggestion on Stroop task when people are suggestive relax, to understand the influencing factors of hypnosis better, and to improve the effectiveness of relaxation. The study reached the following conclusions:(1) As all subjects’hypnotic susceptibility was different, they acted differently after relaxation. Just like:the subjects with high hypnotic susceptibility performed Stroop tasks better in a state of suggestive relaxation than in anxiety state. Oppositely, the low ones performed better in a state of anxiety.(2) All subjects concentrated more on Stroop tasks and performed better in a state of suggestive relaxation than in waking state.(3) For the subjects with low hypnotic susceptibility, task suggestion played an active role in Stroop task. But what affection it has on high ones remains to be further studied and discussed.
