A Study On Grammar Of Wuming Zhuang Language In The Perspective Of Sino-zhuang Language Contact

Prose materials of Wuming dialect and folk tales of Wuming Zhuang, which recorded stories and narrative of daily life by Wuming Zhuang people’s word of mouth, and reflected truly the actual characteristics of different periods Wuming Zhuang’s grammar, are the one of the few Zhuang language prose literature. In the perspective of linguistic typology and contact linguistics, based on order of noun phrases and verb phrases in this paper, Wuming Zhuang grammar was organized and analysed. Combined the means of assumptions deductive-verification in sociolinguistics, this paper examined the historical development of Wuming Zhuang’s grammar and tried to explore its variable trajectory, discussed the reason and mechanisms of variation in the light of language contact theory.chapter I is the Introduction. We introduce the background of the Wuming dialect and folk tales of Wuming Zhuang, contact situation of Sino-Zhuang language, choice of research contents, research status, meaning and methods, and explain the situation of Zhuang word order database.In Chapter II we try to link the relationship between the different phonology of the two texts.Chapter Ⅲ to Chapter Ⅴ are the main trunk portion of the paper:In Chapter Ⅲ, we examine the variation of the noun phrase word order. We exhaustively sorted out the basic situation of word order of noun and attribute nouns, nouns and genitive attributive, nouns and adjectives, nouns and designator, nouns and relative clauses, noun phrase and quantity structure phrase. From the perspective of linguistic typology and contact linguistics, we estimate inherent word order and variable word order in Wuming Zhuang. For variable word order phrase, if conditionally clear variable level, try to sort out the clue of constructing evolution of word order.In chapter IV, we examine diachronic variable situation of word order of the verb phrase. The basic word order of verbs and adjectives, adverbs, prepositional phrases and other modifiers were sorted out from the Wuming dialect and folk tales of Wuming Zhuang. Combined with linguistic typology and contact linguistics theory, we estimate inherent word order and variable word order. For variable word order, try to explore the character of evolution, and construct a evolutive clue.In Chapter V, we explore the reason and mechanism of variation in word order of Wuming Zhuang.
