Postgraduate education is an important part of our nation’s higher education and plays an important role in accelerating the development of our society and improving the comprehensive national strength. Recently, the enrollment scale of postgraduate students is increasing continually. However, academic procrastination can not only influence the study effect and psychological health of postgraduate students, but also influence the quality of the postgraduate students. Therefore, the study of academic procrastination of postgraduate students is becoming more and more important. This thesis takes postgraduate students as the subjects of research, analyzing the academic procrastination, time management disposition and sense of self-efficacy of postgraduate students, and then probing the profound relationships between academic procrastination and time management disposition, sense of self-efficacy. This study is good for preventing and improving the academic procrastination of postgraduate students both theoretically and practically. This study employs Procrastination Assessment Seale-Student, Adolescence Time Management Disposition Scale and General Self-efficacy scale, and picks up668postgraduate students from4high schools in GuangXi as study objects. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The extent of the academic procrastination of most postgraduate students is above the moderate level. Most of them are eager to reduce their time management dispositions.(2)The academic procrastination of postgraduates is different according to sex, major, grade, singleton. The extent of academic procrastination of girls is more severe than boys. The extent is growing with the grades. The extent of students who major in engineering is the lowest. Students majored in liberal arts are the highest, and students majored in science possess the moderate level. Singleton is easier to form academic procrastination.(3)The level of time management disposition of postgraduate students is high. Postgraduate students possess a strong sense of time value but a weak sense of time efficiency.(4)The differences of time management disposition in sex, grade, and major are not remarkable.(5)Most postgraduates possess a strong sense of time efficiency. Few postgraduate students possess a weal sense of time efficiency and are lack of confidence. (6)The sense of time efficiency varies greatly according to sex. Boys possess stronger sense of time efficiency than girls. There are no significant differences in grade and major.(7)There is significantly negative correlation between time management disposition and academic procrastination.
