In recent years, with the increase of domestic average income, various expenditures used in preserving health has continued to rise, covering medical care industry, health and nourishment, recreation and body-building, and etc.The service function of health has become an industry which will lead a growth of global economy and progress of society in21st century. While health-preserving tour serves as a health-pursuit traveling product, which abides by the traditional health-preserving ideas and methods, and combines the physiotherapeutic methods of the modern era, intending to give the tourist a comprehensive and systemic care both in their body and soul, to achieve a state of physical and mental balance. The health-preserving travel appeals to the contemporary people who seek for holistic health.Taoism, one of the indigenous religions of China with the core of its doctrine emphasizing life and morality, raises "life and Dao as one", which considers that health-preserving is to cultivate oneself according to religious doctrine, the ultimate goal of which is to realize immortality. Motivated by the faith of immortal being, the successive believers of Taoism create and develop the uniqueness of health-preserving culture. The health-preserving theories and methods of Taoism, not only significant components of the Taoism culture, but also creeds abided by the believers to cultivate themselves and pursue union of life and Tao, have become an important part of the traditional culture to keep in good health.Sichuan province is one of the cradles of Taoism which boasts for its rich tourism resources. In our province, the exploit of Taoism scenic spot starts very early, of which the Mount Qingcheng has earned world wide reputation. However,"early start" does not mean "well-developed", because numerous tourist resorts in Sichuan province still remains a stage of sight-seeing with the distinct tourism resource not being fully revealed and utilized, which leads to the singularization of the forms of traveling products and restrains the development of the tourist industry. This paper will inquire into the connotation of the health-preserving culture of Taoism to search out a meeting point with tourism development and design a travelling product which is strongly life-experienced, highly participatory and interactive, with an intent to optimize the structure of the travelling product of Taoism culture and enrich the content of these products, to break through the present restrictive problems in tourism, and to bring about economic returns and contribution to society.The structure of this research paper will be divided into the following part:The first part will explore both the relative theories and methodologies of the health-preserving of Taoism culture and the exploit of its touring resources, and we will continue to define the relevant basic concept as well as retrospect the present research findings.The second part will analyze and elaborate on the current situation and problems of domestic exploit of Taoism scenic spot.The third part will start with travelling demands of the subject, combining the specific cases, analyzing the current development of these scenic spot and structure of its products, and we will put forward constructive suggestions as well as exploitive tactics, directing at the life-experienced, participatory and interactive travelling product. The last section is the concluding part. Viewpoints and conclusions of this paper will be demonstrated, and we will forecast the prospect of tourism in health-preserving culture of Taoism.
