A Research Between Song Poems And Song Dynasty Disasters

The Song Dynasty was a dynasty of disaster-prone, and the disasters have brought huge losses and pressure to the Song society. Faced with these disasters, some poets of that time described them in their poems. This paper intends to conduct a comprehensive study of the poems and the disasters of Song Dynasty, analyzing the contents of related poems, and the ideological content which embodied. And try to summarize the disasters in the Song Dynasty and the basic information of people’s response.The paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is about to analyze the disasters recorded in Song Poems from the following four aspects: meteorological disasters, biological disasters, geological disasters, fires, and outline the general situation of the disasters in Song Dynasty; and describe the loss and impact caused by the disasters recorded in the poems, as well as to explore the truth behind the fire and social pressure. The second chapter is the analysis of disasters’ social, political, economic influence on Song society. And focus on the ordinary people’s sufferings caused by the disasters; and discuss the officials’and the ordinary people’inconveniences and impacts caused by relief work and its reasons. The third chapter is try to evaluate the relief manner’s implementation effect recorded in Song Poem combined with the official historical data and generally grasps the Song Dynasty relief measures and relief ideas, showing Song people’s attitude to the disasters. The fourth chapter tries to show the Song people’s understanding of the disasters through the analysis of ideological and cultural connotation in the disaster poems, and tries to discover what kind social aspirations and political ideals Song people want to achieve through explaining disasters poems. The fifth chapter tries to explore the reason why Song people concern about the disasters through analyzing Lu You’s disaster poems.
