Today the trend of globalization is strengthened continuously,advanced and backward, civilization and folly, modern and traditionalproblems etc intertwined, which attacks the people psychology, istesting people’s bearing capacity. Our country is being in the social fasttransition period, the people emotion is deficient, the faith flaw, peopleonly concern about profit, frequent social anomie phenomenon. For example,“Xiao yueyue event”,“The official beats the parents event”, as wellas the topic “holding the old person who falls to the ground or not”which causes the society to discuss hotly.These indicated that thesocial morals question highlights, the members of different socialclasses personality crisis appearance, the cultivation modern societyhealthy personality has become the noticeable social question.The Western educational world often belonged to the personalitycultivation “the clinical psychology” the category in recent years, andattempted by the medical method to correct each morbid personality, butthe effect is not optimistic. In fact, takes the personal education isa big characteristic and the luminescent spot of China traditional culture.The pre-qin Confucian ideas as an important part of traditional Chinesethought, it has important significance for the modern society’ scultivating personality. The Confucian claims “inside the saint outsidethe king,” as the ideal personality model, an advocate corporal gentlemanto "cultivate one’s morality to run a household all the world", it reflectspersonal moral training and run a connected world, it claims that peoplejoins in the society positively. The Confucian claims value morality and justice contempt benefit, charity principle are helpful for people to setup the correct view, constructing the harmonious interpersonalrelationship. The pre-qin Confucian personality education embodies thethought of humanitarian, human rights and the life value understandingand pursuit, and the modern social advocate the realization of the valueof life and the all-round development of human personalitycharacteristics such as completely, they have a lot of correspondence.This paper want to analyze the Confucianism of pre-qin personalitythought deeply, explore the train of thought and method of the Confuciancultivating personality, in order to guide the reality of the socialindividual personality mold, for fostering the harmonious society’spersonality based education provides reference, to broaden ideologicaland political education’s connotation and the path, and finally promotethe all-round development of man.The article is divided into four parts:The first part is the preface, it mainly analyzes background, pointsout that the innovation of the place, introduces the domestic and foreignresearch status, clarifies the research theory significance andapplication value.The second part is analyzing and evaluating the Confucian personalitythought and mainly include the following questions:(1) the basicdefinition of the personality.(2) analysis the pre-qin Confucianpersonality thought content. The specific content include the humanspirit of the Confucian thought, the definition,the Characteristics anddevelopment evolution of ideal personality, the way and method ofachieving ideal personality.(3) evaluation the history value and themodern sense of the pre-qin Confucian personality thought.The third part is analyzing the value of the Confucian personalitythought for modern society cultivating personality. The specific content include two aspects:(1) the Confucian personality thought’s value tomodern society of cultivating personality in the perspective.(2) theConfucian personality thought enriched the modern society cultivatingpersonality’s content.The fourth part is analyzing the path of Confucian personality thoughtin modern society of cultivating personality: learning theory anddevoting to practice, introspection and heteronomy combined, creating agood education environment, playing educators personality demonstrativeeffect.Finally, clarifying the basic attitude and value standard which weshould hold of the traditional ideas which including the pre-qinConfucian personality thought in the modern society in cultivatingpersonality.
