Moment in Peking is a full-length novel written in English by the famous writer Dr.Lin Yutang during his sojourn in Paris from August1938to August1939. It reveals thehistoric stories and social reality of China from the end of Qing dynasty to the outburst ofWorld War II, thus although written in English, this book intends to provide the westernreaders real China and the historic changes it has gone through and provide the true faceof China which is unfamiliar to the western world.
