Abstract:The Chinese nation has a long and splendid civilization, which is the achievement we are always proud of. However, the music culture of China is even a wonderful work of the Chinese nation Culture, with all it’s glitz and glamour, We owe this achievement to the deep culture accumulates, but also because of the spread of the external music culture. There are a number of examples in history of fusing with the native culture and exotic music culture, and Yangqin is a typical one.The Chinese Yangqin is a kind of stringed instrument in the Chinese national instruments. During Late Ming Dynasty and Early Qing Dynasty, Yangqin was brought to China from Europe. After thousands of years dedicated research and development, Yangqin was gradually developed into a typical kind of Chinese national instrument from a western instruments under the industriously cultivation of several generations. And it has established a new school with unique features in the Yangqin world. Meanwhile, the clavichord playing a pivotal role in the Chinese musical culture, is brought into China by the western missionary. The clavichord is developed into the modern piano for a variety of reasons, but it cannot sinicize and only to spread across the whole country. In this essay, something between Yangqin and clavichord will be compared and have an analysis, to explore the underlying reason for sinicizing and development is due to the taste of music in the specific historical conditions. It will reveal the secrets of sinicizing from a new point of view in China and and provide strong theory foundation of the development and the dcreation of Yangqin music with a broad space in future.The article refers to the spread of Yangqin and its sinicizing.
