Animal Farm and Nineteen Eighty-four is George Orwell’s two political fablesnovel with most prestigious. By these two works from the birth, many readers andresearchers concerned it, it’s also been some results, But there are allegory andtotalitarianism and their relationships did not in-depth study. Orwell’s two novels asresearch subjects, from Benjamin’s fable theory perspective, the way to text, toanalytical “animal farm” and “Nineteen Eighty-four” showed in the totalitarian.The thesis is divided into four parts. The first part discusses the fable theory andthe theory of Benjamin allegorical. First introduction the development of the theory ofWestern fable, then introduced the use Benjamin’s allegorical theory and its concepts,and explores the of Benjamin fable theory for the history of care and totalitarian. Thesecond part discusses the totalitarian and "Animal Farm" and “Nineteen Eighty-four ".Totalitarianism is a new political formation in the20th century, introduce the conceptof totalitarianism and its origin and development, and a reference to Hannah Arendt’spoint to defining totalitarianism. Then, from Orwell’s social background and thepersonal experience to explore the cause of the vigilance to totalitarianism. Arendt tothink that totalitarianism should have anti-civilization, anti-responsibility,anti-utilitarian, these four characteristics of the novel anti-system, in order these toanalyze totalitarian connotation to express how totalitarian political slavery. The thirdpart of the interpretation of "Animal Farm" and “Nineteen Eighty-four " in theallegorical. Combined with George Orwell’s reason for allegory writing. Benjaminallegory theory own four characteristics: complex ambiguity, fragmentation,depression and redemption. According this to analyze the totalitarian in the novelexpressed by the writer, then realize the allegorical further in totalitarianism. Fourthpart sum up before three parts, the elucidation of Orwellian allegorical in writing twonovels, and spared no effort to depict the totalitarian and the negative consequences ofits, writer’s main purpose is to hold high the banner of the anti-totalitarian, improvepublic awareness of the totalitarian, revealing a totalitarian political harm, andultimately achieve the purpose of salvation.
