Due to the fast development of imformatization, Application writing, which is theessential communicative skill, is getting more and more attention. It becomes thesignificant ability in the career life, as well as the important standard that the enterprisesmeasure quality of employees. As the public fundamental course in Technician institute,there are so many problems should be improved.This essay analyses the teaching in application writing problem, which is theteacher ignores the analysis of study situation and designs the teaching plans neglectinglearning of students, with methods of questionnaire and interview, and case study.Through the observation of classroom instruction, talking with teachers andquestionnaire for students in Chongqing Chemical and Pharmaceutical TechnicianInstitute.It is discussed that the teaching principle of application writing from students.There are four points about it. The first, scientific analysis for study situation; thesecond, acceptable principle of teaching aim and content design; the third, the principleof cognition; the last but not least, learning should be encouraged by teaching design aspossible. it is also discussed the procedures (Analysis phase, Decision phase andJudgment phases) that comes up with purpose of serving for career, emphasizes aim thatpays more attention to ability and career and the teaching strategies which belongs tocharacter of occupation for students.It will discuss the design of application writing in class through theory teachingafter the teaching instance is analyzed by me, documents and professional documentteaching. Trying to find the effective way which can be connected with study situationof technician institute to improve the skill of application writing with interestinglearningThis study’s conclusions are:1. Study situation should be emphasized in technician institute.2. Teachers should use the scientific method for study situation analysis rather thanexperience 3. Teaching aims and strategies should be set and choose with study situation.
