The relationship between culture and language is inseparable,and the culture implies the most important spiritual characteristics of a people.Therefore,we need to seek for a suitable way that can make mutual promotion between culture teaching and language teaching.Calligraphy is the central elementary of Chinese culture,so that effective calligraphy teaching plays a crucial role for their Chinese culture understanding.Consequently,this article begins with the status survey of calligraphy teaching in Confucius Institute to sorting out and analyzing the teaching situation of world-wide Confucius Institute.Then investigating the learning needs intensively by issuing questionnaires in ChungNam University Confucius Institute and Dongseo University Confucius Institute besides interviewing the Chinese teachers in other Confucius Institute of Korea online. At last,we make the particular teaching plan combined with my experience.This thesis is distributed into five chapters,and the main part are the second,third and forth chapters.The first chapter is introduction.It is summarizes our researching background,value, method and mentality.And it mainly discusses the research overview from two angles that experiential teaching and calligraphy teaching in the area of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The second chapter is mainly talking about the status survey and analysis of calligraphy teaching in Confucius Institute.The author take two kinds websites as our resource of investigating which is Confucius Institute Online and the websites of 2014 Chinese advanced cooperative agency what’s more,for further understanding of the situation,we also issue questionnaires in ChungNam University Confucius Institute and Dongseo University Confucius Institute besides interviewing the Chinese teachers in other Confucius Institute of Korea online. And all the above is to lay a solid foundation to our analysis next.The third chapter pays more attention to course installation.On the base of introducing the basic theories,we arrange the course installation from seven angles as a whole that they are teaching objectives, principles,subject,format,content and ideas.The fourth chapter designs a detailed teaching plan which aims at the high level class in ChungNam University Confucius Institute.The last chapter is conclusion,it conclude all the thesis and make several suggestions about the follow-up study.
