The artificial language analysis is the method used by Logicalpositivism. It is an important part of analytic philosophy and influenceanalytical philosophy much. Hence, the formation and development of theartificial language analysis which included in analytical philosophy can beeasily analyzed and understood with the study of Vienna Circle logicalpositivism main idea.Through the study in background and history of Vienna Circle logicalpositivism, something is cleared. That is the impact of the thoughts and thescience development which inherited by logical positivism. Then, the articleanalyzes the main content of Vienna Circle logical positivism including logic,mathematics, analysis in language logic, internal and external cognition, andso on. These all illustrate that the main idea of Vienna Circle logicalpositivism is related to science. After that, the article states the spread oflogical positivism thoughts in home and abroad and the influence to thephilosophy.Finally there come to the summarization and affirmation to somepositive factors, such as the research methods and analysis methods. On the other hand, the limitations are mentioned too. The paper puts forward theVienna Circle logical positivism was the product of historical background. Itis a good thought to solve previous problems of philosophy by only onetheory. Their research methods are normative and strict which should be usedby all scientific research.But in the process, due to the specific range defined by the theory, allthe philosophical problems can only be set into the range of languageproblems. It is not worthwhile to promote to analyze and solve philosophicaland scientific problems using the only tool in the range. That is why thelimitation exists in Vienna Circle logical positivism.
