In the third chapter, the author details the adjustments or reforms Taiwan’s official institutes of modern Chinese teaching and training have been made since2006in terms of the pertinent policies, decree, or even the curriculum and pedagogy design. In addition, the researcher outlines the relevant methods and regulations framing the present Chinese teacher’s cultivation programs in Taiwan. The succeeding two chapters aim to delineate the current scenario of the progress and development of cultivating Chinese teachers in Taiwan. The sixth chapter is a follow-up inquiry to look into how positively the Chinese instructors after a long-term rigorous training in Taiwan are capable to respond to the world population’s need of learning mandarin and as well how their competence are demonstrated or evaluated in the real classroom settings of different cultures.
