With science and technology rapid development today, the development of Chinese paintinghas been in the process of "borrow ancient" and "melting west",how to inherit and innovate is amajor issue continually discussed by historians and painters. In recent years, With thedevelopment of skills and materials, as one of the major vein traditional Chinese paintingsMogu Painting also obtained the development in exploration, which included not only thechange of material and skills, but also the innovation of concept consciousness and art form.Mogu Painting originated from Zhang Sengyou’s “bump flower" in the Northern andSouthern Dynasties, founded by Xu Xi in the Five Dynasties, formally established by XuChongsi in Northern Song Dynasty and Mogu Painting of the peak occurred in Ming and QingDynasties. Though acting as an indispensable part of Chinese painting art, its development incontemporary Chinese painting is relatively weak. In the new era, it is our responsibility tore-know Mogu Painting, to inherit and develop its fine tradition and to explore the newconstitution form and performance skills, making Mogu Painting constantly blossom. So for theMogu Painting in the present,,we should answer the following questions from theory andpractice, how to inherit its traditional, what effect its fine tradition on contemporary drawinginnovation, how to innovate Mogu Painting through the inheriting good skills and art form.This article " The influence of Mogu Painting in Ming and Qing Dynasty on hedevelopment of contemporary Mogu Painting ", beginning on Mogu Painting developmenthistory and the Ming and Qing Dynasties, taking masters such as SunLong, Yun Shouping forcases to analyze the Mogu Painting epitomizing and innovating in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Inaddition, with the combination of contemporary artists’ Mogu Painting works, I will analyze theeffect Mogu Painting in Ming and Qing Dynasties on he development of contemporary Mogu Painting. It may help contemporary Mogu Painting painter refer the Ming and Qing DynastiesMogu Painting skills and observation methods, get breakthrough at the same time absorbing thetraditions, hoping Mogu Painting in the development of the contemporary art make greaterachievements.
