Adolescence is the critical period of life span development, and one of the coredevelopmental issue in this time is the social development. Interpersonal trust is aneffective way to cultivate their sociability. The family, as the most direct andimportant growth environment of different individuals, is the fundamental factor.Based on family function, the paper was discussed that the relationship between theself-esteem and interpersonal trust of adolescent.The purpose was provided more datafor researching self-esteem and interpersonal trust of adolescent and enricheddomestic studies. Meanwhile, it can help the adolescent and the parents realize theirfamily function and interpersonal trust status, carry out better self-education andfamily self-education.Stratified random sampling is adopted in this study and582members are selectedas objects from one junior high school in Shanxi Province. The paper takes FamilyFunctioning Scale﹙FAD﹚,Self-Esteem Scale﹙SES﹚,Interpersonal Trust Scale﹙its﹚as the measurement tools. Effective data is analyzed using the method ofcorrelation, multi-AVONA, regression and medial analysis. Main conclusions reachedare as follows:⑴The whole situation of family function of the adolescent is well. There weresignificant difference in five aspects of sex, birthplace, only-child or not, grade, fatheroccupation. The specific circumstances are as follows: girls are better than boys inproblem sloving, affective involvement, general functioning; adolescent coming fromtown are better than adolescent coming from countryside in communication, roles;adolescent coming from only-child family are better than adolescent coming frommulti-child family in roles, affective involvement, general functioning.⑵The whole situation of self-esteem of adolescent is well. There weresignificant difference in three aspects of sex, father occupation, grade. It showed thatthe boys were higher self-esteem than girls,and with increasing grade, self-esteem ofadolescent has dropped.⑶The leave of interpersonal trust of adolescent is significantly higher than theaverage. It exhibited a significant difference with interpersonal trust of adolescentfrom different sex, only-child, birthplace and grade.⑷There is a significant negative correlation between family function andinterpersonal trust; There is a significant negative correlation between family functionand self-esteem. There was obvious predictive function for interpersonal trust ofadolescent in communication, roles, problem sloving.⑸Self-Esteem of adolescent has partly intermediary role in the family functionon the impact of interpersonal trust. |
