Sandplay therapy is a kind ofpsychotherapy which combine analytical psychology theory with play therapymakes the client grow up and heal himself. The aim of this research contents two aspects: Study1:The study usesGSES(General Self-efficacy Scale) to select30undergraduates with low generalself-efficacy and30undergraduates with high general self-efficacy as controlgroup. The participants from1-4grade undergraduates of Dalian city somecollege started sandplay creation. The initial sandplay production of two groups undergraduates were compared and the fundamental sandtrays’ characteristics oflow general self-efficacy undergraduates were summarized. Study2: Twoundergraduates from low general self-efficacy group are intervened through theapplication of sandplay therapy by us, in order to verify the effectiveness ofsandplay intervention. The investigation indicates:(1) There are more wounded themes in sandplay productions of low generalself-efficacy group than control group’s, and significant in the empty, split, neglected, hindered, blocked themes.(2) The number of family themes of low general self-efficacy group issignificantly more than the control group’s.(3) The low general self-efficacy group uses the total number of toyssignificantly fewer than the control group’s, moves the number of times of toyssignificantly more than the control group’s, places more natural matter, obstacleand fewer connector, vehicle than the control group’s. (4) The number of sandplay productions without moving sand in the lowgeneral self-efficacy group is significantly more than the control group’s.(5) There are more substituted or without self-image in the productions oflow general self-efficacy group than the control group’s.(6) There are no significant differences in producing time between the twogroups.(7) It is efficiency that sandplay therapy improves the level ofundergraduates’ the general self-efficacy. |
