A Study Of African Students’ Intercultural Adaptation In China

With fast development of economy in China, strong supports of study abroadfrom government, more and more African students come to China for study. Therefore,there is a necessity of investigation about cultural adaption towards African students.The survey based on questionnaire survey and recording survey,63students ofShenyang aerospace university as respondents, investigate cultural adaption, mentalstate of international students. After the analysis, it turns out that:1. Five main obstacles of cultural adaption: Language study; administrativeproblems; legal aspects;＂racial issue＂．2. Lack of social supportive net.3. Compare to other international students, African students are more sensitive aboutracial issue.
