Whether in Chinese or in English, demonstrative pronouns play avery important role in grammar. But in Chinese and English, there aresome special demonstrative pronouns, such as "mei""ge" and "every"“each”. The usage of these special demonstrative pronouns are very highin teaching Chinese as a foreign language, but comparative study of thesespecial demonstrative pronouns is still relatively small. This thesis will befrom eight parts to indicate the differences between “mei”“ge” and“every”“each”, they are a combination of functions, syntax functioncorresponding English and Chinese, a comparative study of "every""""every" each sentence omitted and the application of six aspects of theChinese as a Foreign Language, which summed up the similarities anddifferences of the two sets of demonstrative pronouns. This thesis iscomposed of eight parts. The first part indicated statement of the meaning and the reason ofthis thesis topics motivation and how other people to research "mei""ge"and "every"“each” and how many problems exist. The second part isfrom the corresponding of “mei”“ge” and “every”“each” to research thedifferences. The third part is from deixis and correlate to research thedifferences between the two kinds of demonstrative pronouns. The fourthand fifth part is to research these two kinds of demonstrative pronounsfrom combination function and grammar function. The sixth part is toresearch how they can omit in sentence. The seventh part is to researchhow to teach Chinese as a foreign language.The purpose of writing thisthesis is to research the differences of special demonstrative pronouns. Byresearching these special demonstrative pronouns, we can find moreeffective methods to teach Chinese as a foreign language.
