In a year’s Chinese teaching experience in Thailand, the author finds that the Thai middle school students often make many errors on the learning of “bu” and “mei”.It arouses the author’s attention. In order to make the learners acquire these two synonymous adverbs better, the author make an error analysis on negative adverb acquisition of middle school students in Thailand through collect corpus based on comparative analysis between Chinese language negative adverbs and Thai’s.The author proposes some thinking and advice on Chinese negative adverb teaching in Thailand and hopes these small contributions can promote Chinese teaching in Thailand.This issue consists of five parts. The first part is the introduction, it on the whole introduces the reason of choosing this title, the overview of negative adverb, the source of corpus, and research methods. The second part is the ontology research of negative adverbs between Chinese and Thai language, including the usage of Chinese negative adverbs, Thai language negative adverbs, and the contrast of negative adverbs between Chinese and Thai language. The third part is the analysis of “bu”and“mei”for the negative adverb teaching aim at Thai, including combing Chinese negative adverbs and grammar induction in the text book, and a comprehensive description and analysis on the data of the questionnaires. The forth part is the error analysis on Thai middle school students of learning “bu”and“mei”,first is the errors classification divided into meaning, collocation and syntax order from perspective of contrast synonym. The fifth part is the enlightenment and suggestions on the teaching of negative adverbs in Thai, coming from the teaching practice.
