A Study On Financing Model Of China’s Movie Producer

With the gradual deepening of China’s economic reform, China’s film industry is also gradually coming to the market from the state-owned enterprises dominated industry. And Chinese Film are more deeply involved in the economic globalization, but also faced with the great challenges of international cinema. The film industry is a capital-intensive industry, capital is critical to the development of the film industry, and financing model is critical to access capital. Therefore understanding and improving the film industry financing model has become the key to solve the problem of shortage of funds. Research on financing model of film industry can not only break the financing constraints, but also can improve the efficiency of resource allocation of capital, so as can to promote the development of the film industry, contributes to the strategy of construction of cultural power of our country. Therefore, the paper has theoretical and practical significance.In the paper, first I analyzed the economic characteristics of the film industry and film industry value chain, understood the film industry from economic perspective, for the analysis of financing model of film industry laid the foundation of economic theory. Next, I combed the status of the financing model of the film industry at home and abroad, abstracted financing model (Copyright capitalization model)suitable for the development of the film industry. Relying on the description of the current situation of financing models in the film industry, I made analysis of several financing mode with the Game Theory. Several models including Credit guarantee financing, copyright pledge financing, income right mortgage and venture capital. I find out the key variables that affect several financing model and the specific applicable conditions. Finally, from the actual situation of China’s film industry, I made several specific recommendations that including:to establish strict credit evaluation system and related policies, to regulate the property rights trading market and to improve the mechanism of copyright protection, to development the insurance companies involved in the financing of film industry, to Improve the capital market of film industry.
