A Study On Problems And Solutions Of Private University’s English Teaching

The birth of the private university in China is in the process of China’s economic reform and education reform. Its financial support is from non-fiscal expenditure of education. Private universities are higher education schools who are implementing undergraduate education. It takes new code of management under the new system. Private university’s development has experienced the period of dependence, independence and transition period. Although private universities are facing challenges and difficulties, it will finally develop into non-governmental institutions of higher learning. It has played a very important role in private university’s development to improve its quality of teaching. As a part of university education, college English teaching is also important. The article mainly talk about four parts:First, the presentation of the questions. It is an overall summary of the background, meaning and methodology.Second, the problems that have existed in college English teaching of private university.Third, some reasons that have lead to the problems.Fourth, some solutions that can solve the problems.
