Depression has become a top threat to mental health and students in subthresholddepression are accounted for the vast majority of Students in depression.Although the symptoms of Subthreshold depression is lighter than depression,long-term subthreshold depression get great harm to the mental health of collegestudents.Currently,depression intervention is carried out through the intervention oftheir cognitive and behavioral.Meanwhile,deep psychological intervention, likeSandplay, a therapy promoting personality by deep psychology intervention,is rarely.In This study, Verifing the effectiveness of sandplay therapy identification andintervention for students in subthreshold depression is main issue. Firstly,graspSandplay feature of students in subthreshold depression through producing the initialsandplay respectively by results of self rating depression scales,which are deliveredto grades one to three students of Liaoning Normal University to filter30students inSubthreshold depression and30in no depression and comparison of two groups ofworks in various dimensions.Secondly, in case study method,verify the effectivenessof sandplay therapy for intervention of students in subthreshold depression by carriedout a series of interventions to volunteers for follow-up treatment.The results show that:(1)There are significant difference between subthresholddepression group and contrast group in traumatic theme, work scenes, use of toys,self presence, work time. On the contrary, difference in times of moving toys andsands can be neglected.(2)Differences between males and females of Subthresholddepression group,except in work scenes and use of toys, are not obvious.(3) Verifythe good effect of sandplay therapy for interventng college students in subthresholddepression through comparision in the reults of self-assessment, others reflect,theSandplay change and psychological measurement.
