In2011, the annual box office income of China’s film industry is13.115billion,3billion more than last year, total box office are close to one sixth of the north American’s, to be the top ten of the world film market. With the development of economy, progress of movie screening technology, growth of people’s demand of cultural products, China’s film industry has rapid development, but billions of box office can’t cover the increasingly prominent problems of our country’s film industry.China’s film industry has experienced from the planned economy, in the mode of planned purchase and supply and the monopoly of china film group corporation, to the relaxation of the restricted to private and foreign capital, to the establish of cinema chain. The market structure of every link of China’s film industry chain, the film ticket price has a huge wave, the total and the per capita number of audience has appeared fluctuation with the wave of ticket price. We should be aware that high ticket price drives high box office, but it elbows most of the audience out of film market. We can see that the high ticket price has been one the most important factors to restrict the development of China’s film industry, how to establish a reasonable movie ticket prices must be resolved to promote the development of China’s film industry.In this paper, firstly, based of the introducing the operation mechanism and the present situation of China’s film industry the author introduce the way of the price of movie to be valued. Then, through the comparison of the history and present index, our country’s and other country’s index(the index is the ratio of movie ticket price to income levels) to analyze the rationality of China’s movie ticket price.At last, deeply analyzed the influential factors of the supply and demand, market structure and company’s behavior of every link of film industry chain, government policy, focusing on the cause of high ticket prices, and in view of promoting the competition of every link of film industry chain to put forward reasonable countermeasures and policy suggestions.
