With China's economy developing and hence people's demand for cultural products increasing, the film industry, which is an important part of cultural industry and plays an important role in the cultural market of China, becomes one of the projects for our country to develop. But the high price ticket becomes a problem which is harm to our movie industry. The present paper tries to analyze the relationship between ticket price and Chinese film industry and their mutual influent.Firstly, introducing the history and development of Chinese film industry, and the situation of our film market and the way of the price of movie to be valued.In the second part of this paper, the author analyzes the effects of high ticket prices and tries to find out the causes of the phenomenon:the system of price, contribution of cinema and consumer's concept etc.The third, based on the scholar's research achievements in this field, the author puts forward some strategies on film ticket pricing to promote our film industry's development and solve the problem of high ticket price, for example, the government should make more efforts to accelerate the market, to make the system of price more equitable, make more productions to make more profit to ensure our film market independent to ticket sells.In the fourth part, by analyzing the two reversing cases on the relationship between ticket prices and grosses, the author finds out that the ticket price does have effects on grosses and the whole film industry but it is not the only factor.Finally, the author makes a comparison between ticket prices and people's incoming over the last decade, between our country's ticket price and that abroad, thus illustrates lengthwise and widthwise of Chinese film ticket price from the perspective of time and space. The third part of the appendix is the questionnaire and results done in Beijing, Changsha and Kunming, by which the author wants to find out some statistics to support the author's conclusions.
