Xu Peidong National Vocal Music Works Of Times Character And National Character

Today, with the constant development of music, outstanding composers and vocal music works emerge in large numbers in vocal music field. During the developing process of the national vocal music works, Xu peidong whose works are enduringly widely sung is one of the representative figures of excellent composers of national vocal music. To analyze the times and the national characters not only can help us to understand his creation better but also can help us to master the times and the national characters of the vocal music works in vocal music performance, and therefore we can represent the thoughts and artistic conception better in vocal music performance. In the course of the study, this paper mainly takes Xu Peidong’s two works" Yellow River Fisherwoman" and "Spring Shajiabang" as examples, analyzes the times and the national characters of the two works. Through the analysis, prompts us to get more in-depth knowledge and understanding of the times and the national characters of national vocal music, which can relate to the developing direction and the global of our national vocal music.
