Zhu Guangqian In The Course Of The Localization Of Western Literary Theory In China(1918-1949)

In the context of globalization, the Western Literary Theory is indispensable theoretical source to build the Chinese Contemporary Literary Theory.The theory of "The Localization of Western Literary Theory in China" is proposed to solve the theory resources for digestion and absorption, reflection, reference. At present, the academia has discussed the problem of "The Localization of Western Literary Theory in China" on theory in many aspects, and made generally agree with the feasibility and theoretical significance of it. However, they haven’t obtained unanimous view about how to realize Western Literary Theory in China.In this academic background, the paper argues that Zhu guangqian is not only an important witness to the history, but also his academic practice for us to discuss the problem of "The Localization of Western Literary Theory in China" accumulated great experience. Therefore, the main problem of this paper is the academic path of Zhu Guangqian to interpret Western Literary Theory in Chinese-style. Based on the academic study of Zhu Guangqian and the relevant research results about this topic, firstly, from the viewpoint of history, this paper introduce the course of Western Literary Theory in china, and the historical status of Zhu Guangqian in the course of the Localization of Western Literary Theory; and then, combined with Zhu Guangqian academic works to analyze his academic practice; finally, integratly refine the theoretical connotation of his academic method, evaluate the gain and loss of his academic experience and inspire our later to study "the Localization of Western Literary Theory in China".The paper tries to avoid preconceived of abstract theory, carefully study the actual process of Zhu Guangqian practicing Western Literary Theories from the case studies. Based on this, deeply study the historical experience of the localization of Western Literary Theories and the realistic trend of the theory, and better promote the globalization of China to realize Chinese and Western Literary Theory communication and equal dialogue in a new theoretical platform. It should be said that this is a strong theoretical and practical significance topic.
