Study On Aesthetic Imagination In Scientific Creation

Imagination is common in all the creative activity, not only performs in art,but also blends in science. In the process of scientific creation, researchers needto use rational and rigorous logic methods for constructing theory or put forwardhypothesis, and also need to make use of the logical thinking, such asimagination, inspiration and intuition, and even use aesthetic thinking activity.Combined with the description and scientific achievement of Einstein, Poincare,Heisenberg, Planck, and other famous scientists and some contemporaryscientists, we find that, aesthetic imagination in the process of science creatingactivities have an irreplaceable role. The paper analyzes the typical cases ofscientific research and scientific innovation in science story, and discusses therole of aesthetic imagination in the natural scientific creation, and explores thespecific application mechanism of aesthetic imagination in natural scienceresearch process.This paper studies on the connotation and characteristics of aestheticimagination and scientific creation; combined with the typical case in science,this paper probes into the triggering conditions of the aesthetic imagination in theprocess of science creating activities; and expounds the basic model, promotingfunction of science, the realistic meaning and the training strategy in order tohelp improve the aesthetic imagination ability of scientific workers, so as tocreate more valuable scientific achievements and make contribution to theprogress of human society.
