With the developing of China, Chinese learner are all over the world.As a result,how to teach Chinese, especially which part reference to Chinese traditionalculture,has been a focus. But the questions of what and how to teach the board andprofound culture to foreigner is still in great need to be answered.There are two way of culture teaching, one is to add the cultural elements intolanguage classes, which is for beginners and intermediate level’s students. The otherway is to separate the cultural classes from language classes, which is for theadvanced level students. These four words not only the ordinary vocabulary of plants,they also have a very rich cultural connotations. Plum, orchid, bamboo,chrysanthemum is a deep cultural connotation of vocabulary In this paper, plum,orchid, bamboo, chrysanthemum four cultural vocabulary, for example, these fourwords in Chinese are showing a different state to be classified, choose the key thecultural teaching class, such as the four gentlemen morpheme vocabulary, idioms,poems or related food culture, folk culture and so on. Of Chinese Proficiency studentsuse a different mode of teaching, such as of Elementary Chinese students usingsynchronous interpretation method and comparison method of teaching; teaching ofvocabulary expansion for intermediate Chinese proficiency students, the traditionalcultural expansion pedagogy and communicative practice; for advanced Chinese levelstudents, the creation of cultural lectures, four gentlemen poetry learning ororganization to learn Chinese Talent. No matter what kind of teaching methods,teaching mode purpose international students to fully understand the culturalconnotation of the four gentlemen in the classroom, and in the after-school can use therandom knowledge point communication. For the next encounter cultural teaching,teachers’ use of cultural pedagogy is not fixed, but flexible. What teaching methodsallow international students to grasp the cultural knowledge to adopt teaching methods.This essay is intended to sort out a way of how to teach a cultural knowledge pointstep by step from beginner to advanced level. In addition, the essay conclude some five basic law of culture teaching, for the hope to bring some new thoughts and inspirationto fellows who is farming the field of teaching Chinese as foreign language.
