| In the past, the philosophers tended to regard the fundamental being of everything as entity, by which they conceived the ontology in various ways. While Heidegger maintained that "Being", the university of whom transcends that of the substances, does not equal to the latter. It is because "being" itself differs from substances that we cannot get it by the traditional logical definition. To make "Being" show itself is necessary for the comprehension of "being". Thus, the phenomenology method is required. In explaining the phenomenology, which means letting that which shows itself be seen from itself in the very way in which it shows itself from itself, Heidegger, confirmed this method. Furthermore,"Being" should be the primary object of phenomenology, and it cannot be grasped in the way of concept but showing itself. Thus the ontology and phenomenology is necessarily combined together for their internal features. So "Only as phenomenology is ontology possible."Only as phenomenology is ontology possible, because the phenomenological method makes "Being" show itself as it is. From this perspective, the traditional ontology is impossible as they ignored "Being" itself in explaining substances, so "Being" was always covered up. The destruction of the traditional ontology, which is an important work in Heidegger’s life,is necessary for the show of the Being in Cover-up-ness, and the destruction of Descartes’ ontology is an important part of this work.It is planned by Heidegger that the destruction of Descartes should be in the second section of part two, while this plan had not been implemented as a subject. But we can see that this work is dispersed in the texts of Heidegger. This paper aims to sort out Heidegger’s discourses in two parts:Part1is the destruction making by Heidegger to Decartes’s explanation of "world", after which the account for the world phenomenology is brought out. Part2is the same work of Heidegger to Descartes’ proposition of "I think, therefore I am". Only when we understand that "I think", the essence of which is "I represent", can we comprehend why Decartes made for the road of subject-Metaphysics. |
