Aesthetics Study On No Design Concept

With the development of social economy and people’s consumption level, Design plays a more and more important role in life. People can see almost everything around our life which is printed on label of design, design not only gradually changs people’s way of life and has become the selling point of many businesses, but also brings many social and environmental problems. Some people excessively lay emphasis on design form (like the expensive packaging for moon cakes and tea) in order to increase added value of product, thus mislead the consumers’value orientation and bring a huge waste of resources; Another example is some people use inferior material to save the design cost, having a serious impact on consumers’health and bring huge pressure to the environment. So it is imperative to change the condition of design, advocate green ecological design and make design to its original simplicity.No Design embarks from the traditional idea, advocate a concept of natural and simple, contributing its own strength for design to return to its original simplicity. This article embarks from the theory and practice, deeply analyzing the origin and connotation of the concept.Specifically, the first part of this article expounds the background, research condition of No Design ideas, presents the necessity and significance of research on the No Design concept.The second part primarily concentrates on the etymology of No Design, presenting the definition of No Design idea, illuminating the three big characteristics: intangible; simplicity; originality.The third part concretely explores from origin and aesthetic connotation of No Design concept.It ideologically points out the fundamental effects which Chinese Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism and Japanese Empty Aesthetics put on No Design concept:;In practice it embarks from the definition of the design concept, material selection, color use, and presents several ways of artistic conception to do the concrete analysis and definition on design practice of No Design concept.The fourth part analyzes some representative examples of design concept such as Muji, Longhu long bridge county and zen landscape, making people have a good understanding of successful design brand, landscape design and No Design concept in the classical case.Finally, this article points out the requirements based on the Chinese traditional proposition "learning from the natural and obtaining something in the heart", supplements the prospects and future of concept development and possible design condition, once again points out that it is necessary for No Design concept to return design to its original simplicityIn short, No Design concept points out a design thought based on Oriental philosophy, shows the pursuit of simplicity. It is not only a kind of original return for design itself, but also makes its own effort to the sustainable development of the world.
