In the modern home textile design, realistic flowerpatterns have special expression form and grumous art appreciation. Its culturalconnotation and popular causes have special charm. As the developing of moderncities and the progress of civilization, people go more and more away from the nature.They mentally need more comfortable and more natural living environment. Andflower elements in the nature have special charm, go with the tide and play more andmore important roles in home textile design. As a part of flower pattern design,realistic flower patterns are recently more and more applied in modern home textiledesign. And it become an unvarying design element and has special design style.This paper puts emphasis on talking about the application of realistic flowerpatterns in modern home textile design. This paper contains knowledge about patterndesign, style design and fashion trend. The method of analysis and synthesis is used indiscussing. Realistic flower pattern is analyzed in lengthways. The design of realisticflower pattern in home textile is concluded. The description and design of eachelement is analyzed.
