This translation report has an in-depth look at the translation problems and methods. There is a great difference in English and Chinese sentence structure since English is more about subordinate structure while Chinese tends to be SV pattern. The translated text from Chinese to English is characterized by long sentence and compound sentence. How to translate between these two languages is the key point to study in this report. As to word selection, rhyme could be seen as a method when a sentence is structured with parallelism, in which way, the translated language could be closer to the meaning of source language. Also terms translation is also concluded in this report.
