A Comparative Study On "Cheng Ran(诚然)" And "Zong Ran (纵然)"

With the theories of text linguistics, I use inductive method, statistical method,comparative method to analyze "cheng ran（诚然）" and "zong ran（纵然）", and theirgrammatical meanings, textual syntax, pragmatic functions and differences.The first chapter introduces the importance, content, status and sources of theresearch.The second chapter analyzes the functional characteristic of "cheng ran（诚然）"and "zong ran（纵然）".The third chapter starts with the semantic categories, sums up the differentseparations of meaning in the dictionary, analyzes the semantic relation anddifferences.The fourth chapter analyzes the linguistic unit and certain context of "cheng ran（诚然）" and "zong ran（纵然）" with the theories of text linguistics.The fifth chapter analyzes their pragmatic functions.The sixth chapter draws a conclusion.
