Qunshu Culture is an organic part of Chinese civilization. With the deep development of Qunshu bronzes’ researches, the culture’s appearance become clear, however the researches on potteries are not so sufficient. A lot of ruins with the character of that time are continuously discovered, mainly including Zhe Jianli, Qu Binghe, Zhe Fugui and Zhe Jianpen after the Archeology of Shang and Zhou in Jianghuai area, Anhui province. These implements are sort of similar to Qunshu bronzes having been excavated in Jianghuai area, but different from the remains around it. The development of those implements is in accord with the time of Qunshu people’s activities, experiencing a process of creation, popularity and decadence during the period of Middle Xi Zhou、Middle Spring and Autumn. Based on the previous researches on Qunshu culture, the author analyzes the partial potteries excavated in Jianghuai area in the light of typology and differentiates their times, and then talks about their relations with Qun Shu culture. There are four sections in this article.I. IntroductionThere are three parts in this section:review of Qunshu cultural research history, description of research object、aim and method, the excavation of Zhou’s remains in Jianghuai area. The paper reviews Qunshu cultural research history in three aspects. Firstly, this part mainly combs related historical documents, such as Spring and Autumn、Zuo Zhuan which described a large number of activities in Qunshu. Those documents showed a difficult living condition of Qunshu people among the bigger states, such as Xu、Chu、Wu, thus Qunshu didn’t grow to be a union. Secondly, this part mainly introduces some statements and representive opinions of professional historical experts. Though, the historical research of Qunshu culture goes through the whole Academic History research, the special statements about Qunshu are not enough, most of which are focused on the contrast with culture of Xu and Huaiyi. Thirdly, this part pays attention to the researches on bronzes and inscriptions included by Qunshu Archaeology researches. The research object of this paper is the Zhou’s potteries with native characters excavated in Jianghuai area, including Zhe Jianli, Qu Binghe, Zhe Fugui and Zhe Jianpen. As to the aim of this paper, there are three:the developing sequence of partial potteries in Jiang Huai area, the analysis of culture property and developing process of typical potteries, the discussion of the culture appearance and their relations with Qunshu culture presented. The main research methods of this paper are induction、typology、stratigraphy and cultural factor analysis.About the excavation in this area, the author mainly introduces some remains which are scientifically excavated with detail documents been publicized in order of time.Ⅱ. the typology analysis and staging researches of typical implements. This section consists of two parts. In the first part, this article divides the typical implements into several types. Then, it introduces their excavations one after another, followed by their contrasts according to shapes. In the second part, this article does researches on the culture’s developing stage and times. To achieve this point, the author divides the implements into four groups based on stratum relations, and then analyze and use C-14data of Yantai, Huoqiu County, by comparison with related ones around. As the result, from the first group to the fourth one, their times are respectively Middle Xi Zhou, Late Xi Zhou, Early Spring and Autumn, and Middle Spring and Autumn without missing link.Ⅲ. the analysis of culture property of the typical implements. In this section, there are three parts. In the first part, this paper compares the implements excavated in Jianghuai area with the similar ones in Xinyang、the north of Hubei and the south of Shandong. As the result, the Jianghuai area which are typical of Zhe Jianli、Qu Binghe、Zhe Fugui and Zhe Jianpen and the sites around it interacted and penetrated each other along their communications, thus they have similar cultural elements. However, they keep the most of their own cultural characters. The former four implements reflecting more native culture are the representatives of ethnic groups. In the second part, this article discusses the developing periods of Qunshu culture. By studying the distribution of these implements in different times, the author believes that the unattached ethnic groups culture were created in Middle XiZhou, then bloomed from Late Xi Zhou to Middle Spring and Autumn and extincted afterwards, In the third part, this article talks over Qunshu remains. As to Huai Shige, the author believes they are the typical utensils of ethnic groups which is not only spread in the north of Yangtze. Besides, the author infers that the former four implements have absolute relations to Qunshu through analyzing the types of the implements and Qunshu bronzes in their distributed area、 popular periods and so on. Their popular regular is the miniature of Qunshu groups’ development.Ⅳ. Conclusion. The author summarizes the full text and prospects the culture research of Archaeology of Qu Shu...
