This article embarks from the JiangHuai region Han tombs unearthed pottery,excavated pottery can be divided into two categories---clay pottery and glazed pottery,by taking the Lu'An Shuanglong cemetery and the LuJiang Dongyuan cemetery as the representative,this paper makes a comparative study,find out the similarities and differences between the two cemeteries,and analyzes the distribution and source of the glazed pottery tombs in the entire JiangHuai region,so as to explore the formation mode of the Han culture in the JiangHuai region from a deeper level..Firstly,the general scope of JiangHuai region is defined and the research object of this paper is defined.Then,the research results of scholars on Han tombs in this region over the years are briefly reviewed,and the research ideas and methods of this paper are introduced.Secondly,taking Dongyuan cemetery in LuJiang(Songke cemetery)and Shuanglong cemetery in Lu'An as example,the similarities and differences of types,combinations and characteristics of burial objects,such as potteries,bronze mirrors and model vessels in burial objects,as well as the geographical locations,burial forms and systems of the two cemeteries were compared,and then the differences in cultural characteristics between two cemeteries were analyzed.Through the statistical analysis of the number of glazed pottery tombs found in the whole JiangHuai region,the spatial distribution characteristics were obtained-more in the east and less in the west.Through typological analysis,the author divided the period of the glazed pottery tombs in the JiangHuai region into different periods,and found that the distribution of the glazed pottery tombs in the JiangHuai region was sporadic in the early Western Han dynasty,increased in the middle Western Han Dynasty,and reached its peak in the late Western Han Dynasty.Finally,the differences between LuJiang Dongyuan cemetery and Lu'An Shuanglong cemetery are explained.Through literature review,it is concluded that these two cemeteries respectively represent two modes in the process of the unification and integration of Han cultural in this region-immigration mode and enfeoffment mode.
