In recent years, the wave of the new global economy, the rapid development of modern industrial civilization and urbanization inevitably impact and destroy the cultural ecology. The rapid penetration and spread of the emerging culture makes China’s traditional cultural heritage face a huge threat. Cultural heritage is divided into two types,"intangible cultural heritage" and "intangible cultural heritage". The special attribute of being exist along with the human being makes the intangible cultural heritage face a more serious crisis of being extinct than the cultural heritage. Such a crisis derives from the two aspects of natural demise and human demise. Compared to the natural demise, human demise can take a variety of practical and effective measures to be dealt with. Nowadays, with the rapid development of science and technology, documentary, as a dynamic image rendering, has a unique advantage in the protection of intangible cultural heritage. In order to inherit and protect the rare intangible cultural heritage in our country, from the perspective of the text study of Chinese intangible cultural heritage, this thesis analyzes and interprets the audio-visual body of the intangible cultural heritage. On the basis of objective research, this thesis comments and summarizes the writing style, documentary aesthetics, expression, type characteristics of this kind of documentary, hoping to provide the reference for future study. As a kind of documentary, Chinese intangible cultural heritage documentary not only has the inheritance but also the breakthrough in the style characteristics. Its focus is to highlight the unique local and national temperament of the intangible cultural heritage, and to get rid of the concept of treating Chinese intangible cultural heritage documentary as a single "cultural show". The thesis also tries to provide a new cultural field for the permanent preservation of the rare intangible cultural heritage in our country.This thesis carries out from three aspects. The first chapter is the image:a return to visual presentation. It analyzes the screen language of this type of documentary from the narrative, descriptive and performance image. The second chapter is the comments:transformation of interesting language. It interprets the commentary from the commentary of strategy, pace and the aesthetic point. The third chapter is sound effect:living auditory expression. It grandly comprehends and grasps the sound effect of the Chinese intangible cultural heritage documentary from the subjective, objective and comprehensive sound effect.
