Humanistic Spirit in the Southwest Associated University(SAU) scientists reflects a positive interaction between science and humanities, such as morality, literature, and art. It fully demonstrates that the development of science needs humanities; what’s more, deep association exists between science and the humanities. Interdisciplinary perspectives on the combination of science and the humanities can be a new attempt.Today,"scientific" and "humanistic" are divided into two closely guarded worlds. It seemed that science has no relationship to humanities. However, scientists in the SAU showed a totally different picture in their humanistic spirit, which gave us a reference to review the common problem of our era and retrial science and rational.This paper is divided into five parts.The Introduction briefly introduces the basic situation of Sciences and Humanities in Comparative Literature field, trying to generalize the Humanistic Spirit in the SAU scientists in a interdisciplinary perspect.The First Chapter focuses on the excellent style of the SAU scientists, exploring the tradition of humanistic scholarship in the SAU. It will be discussed in two parts:the academic tradition of the SAU and the "Phuket" spirit during war time.The Second Chapter focuses on Chen-Ning Franklin Yang. This chapter will be discussed in three parts:scientist’s personality and scientific beauty, the "symmetry" principle and classical poetry, literary complex and "religious complex".The Third Chapter focuses on Tsung-Dao Lee. This will be discussed in three parts:the Chinese expression of "Parity Nonconservation", cosmography paper in poetry form, a deep thought on the relationship between science and art. The Fourth Chapter focuses on Wu Zhengyi, discussed in three parts: scientists who adored Wen Yiduo, botany and Wang Guowei’s "three realms", plant taxonomy identification and textual research on ancient poetry.
