Research On The Internal Inter-school Relations Of Southwest Associated University

Peking University,Tsinghua University and Nankai University,which moved south to the rear,jointly formed southwest United University.As a model of the Wartime Education Association,the cooperation spirit of the three universities has been paid attention to by people all the time.On the other hand,the differences in the pattern of the three universities of Southwest Associated University and the conflicts between them are worth discussing and reflecting.The combination of the three universities in southwest United University is not in-depth,but they still have considerable independence,teaching union and separation of academic institutions;the administrative subjects are not united,and the school affairs are jointly responsible.Although the temporary combination can avoid the expansion of contradictions to a certain extent,the embarrassment and disputes of "one room for each other" are inevitable.Tsinghua University dominates in the pattern of southwest United University,which makes Peking University feel passive.The independent development of its branches becomes the appeal of Peking University.The dispute over the relocation of the three universities in 1941 once led to the division of the three universities.The active mediation of the directors of the three universities and the Ministry of education maintained the situation of southwest United University,and the United system tended to be stable.Peking University colleagues are extremely dissatisfied with Jiang Menglin,the president of Peking University,for his compromise attitude in order to maintain cooperation.They blame him for his irresponsibility,which makes Peking University Academic unhappy and in crisis.After the victory of the Anti Japanese War and the active planning of the three universities for the resumption of the University,there was a sudden "storm of changing the president" in Peking University.The seemingly accidental events involved the situation anxiety of Peking University in the system of southwest United University.The expectation of the resumption of the University contained the potential demands of academic rejuvenation and the re selection of the president.Southwest Associated University is the product of the Anti Japanese war.After the student movement after the war,Peking University,Tsinghua University and Nankai University moved back to Peiping together,and the mission of Southwest Associated University ended.Around the cultural reconstruction after the war,the threeuniversities launched cooperation and competition in the integration of educational resources,and the political intervention could not be ignored.
