Cultural Construction Of An Honest And Clean Government

The cultural construction of a clean and honest government is an important content of the socialist advanced culture; a significant foundation for promoting the construction of a harmonious society; and an inexorable requirement for improving the Party’s style of work, upholding integrity and combating corruption. Therefore, a systematic study in this field has great significance both realistically and theoretically.This thesis has explored the promotion of the cultural construction of a clean and honest government, absorbing the research achievements of organization, politics, sociology, culturology, ethics and other related disciplines. It has adopted a research method of combining theory with practice and combining history with reality. As far as the author sees it, for the construction of an advanced cultural system in this new period, it is a necessary means and also an inevitable direction to build a culture of a clean and honest government, turn it to an internalized norm of morality and interests for the officials and masses, make it universally accepted and approved of by them, and finally create a good social atmosphere.This thesis is consists of four parts. The first part introduces the background for the research-the Chinese society is currently amid a transitional period and it is essential to strengthen the cultural construction of a clean of honest government. Then the author brings forward the research ideas. In the second part, the author introduces related concepts and theoretical analysis on the culture of a clean and honest government. Then the author makes a dynamic analysis on the process of how this culture works, based on the organizational culture. The third part studies the current cultural condition of our society, which is in a transitional period, and points out the existing problems. The fourth part gives proposals on strengthening the cultural construction of a clean and honest government, combining the rewarding explorations in practice work of Sichuan Province.
