Jiaozhou Bay Dagu Estuary Wetland Ecological Security Evaluation

Abstract/Summary:
The Dagu estuary wetland of Jiaozhou Bay is natural-social-economic complex ecosystem. In recent years, the environmental conditions of Dagu estuary wetland are continue to deteriorate, for the socio-economic development and population increase. For example, the substantially reduced area of wetland, the increased volume of sewage discharge, the reduction of biological diversity and the sand mining activities for Dagu estuary. If things go to like this, not only natural environment degenerate, but also impede social-economic development and threatening the survival of the human security.This paper analyzes the Dagu estuary wetlands in the natural environment,socio-economic environment,the status of wetlands.Classifying Dagu estuary wetland by ENVI4.4software.Establishing Dagu estuary wetland ecological security assessment index system,according to the Dagu estuary wetland status and collected relevant data.In PSR modle, analyzing2002,2006,2009Dagu estuary wetland ecological security by analytical hierarchy process and the composite index method. Based on evaluation results, bring forward countermeasures and suggestions.The results show, than the city of chenyang jiaozhou area is small, but because the city of chenyang is the partial industrial city,the chenyang’s industrial output value and output value is greater than the jiaozhou.The agricultural output of Jiaozhou is higher than the city of chengyang.Because the city of chengyang is an industrial city, the volume of sewage discharge、 soot and dust emissions、sulfur dioxide emissions、industrial solid waste generation are higer than the Jiaozhou.The area、intertidal zone area and amount tidal volume of Jiaozhou Bay continues to decrease,and shoreline length increased.According to three different periods of land use change classification map,reed beds and aquaculture ponds is substantially reduced, a substantial increase in construction land and green area, a slight increase in the rivers and lakes area,a slight decrease in marine and salt pan.The pressure of region mainly from Daily per capita water consumption、Daily per capita garbage emissions、fertilizer load of the unit of arable land and the population density. Per capita water resourses、the compliance rate of coastal waters function area,wetland area accounted for the proportion of the area are sensitive indicator of the state of Dagu estuary wetlands.We should improve repeated utilization ratio of industrial water、per10000in the number of college students、ratio of environmental management investment to GDP and wetland management.The ecological security index in2006was0.44, was the minimum value of the three periods.Mainly because,Jiaozhou and Chengyang district is in the development and construction period in2006, the ecological security of region damage greater degree,and appropriate protective measures have not kept pace.2002and2009, the ecological security index is closer to0.48and0.51,respectively.Pressure index and the response index for2009is higher than in2002.So,the ecological pressure eased than before,ecological response to an upward trend in2009. This show that the degree of human attention and protection of the ecosystem to strengthen. The state index in2009is lower than in2002. So state of the environment and the ability of resistance rick is worse in2009than in2002.
