With the2009economic rebound,coal as the basic energy, our country has asubstantial increase for coal, All over the country ’s coal enterprises improve the miningcapability and increase production rapidly. The rope aerial passenger transport system asthe important auxiliary transport equipment of Coal Mine, reduce the time to work andphysical exertion through transport miners, promote high yield and efficiency of coalmines, and its safety and reliability get the more to more concern and attention form allaspects. The current mechanism and monitoring system of rope aerial passengertransport system has the problems of low security and low reliability.The target of this paper is to make sure that mechanism and monitoring systemsafety and reliability of rope aerial passenger transport system. This paper discussed theentire program, analyzed the definition and working principle of rope aerial passengertransport system in detail, designed the efficient and reliable monitoring system basedon PLC and frequency converter, and introduced the second generation wavelet foranalyzing the vibration signal of the key Mechanical parts, implement the extraction anddiagnosis of common mechanical failure. This paper main work of present study can bedrawn as follows:(1) introduced the summary of rope aerial passenger transport systemexisted, and classified and compared;(2) introduced the component and structuralparameters of rope aerial passenger transport system, calculated and verified the keycomponent of rope aerial passenger transport system, make sure the safety andreliability of mechanical structure;(3) analyzed the function of rope aerial passengertransport system, summarized the shortcoming of existing control system, and designedthe control system based on PLC and frequency converter;(4) through thetelecommunications technology, implement the remote monitoring; introduced thesecond-generation wavelet analysis, completed the fault diagnosis function based onsecond-generation packet. The experiment results and the actual operation show thatwith good extended performance and rich functionality, the fault diagnosis system have achieved satisfactory results in the diagnosis of common machinery fault for rope aerialpassenger transport system.
