With the rapid development of the coal industry, the large mining heightfully-mechanized has become an effective method to make coal mining step inthe high yield and high efficiency. The high cutting powered support as the keyequipment of the large mining height fully-mechanized, Because of its complexloading, the big load change, the bad working environment and even thefrequent damage phenomenon, it caused some casualties, seriously impacted onthe mine production and restricted to improve the economic benefits of the coalmine. The number of measurement points and the processing quality couldinfluence the traditional prototype test, it is difficult to fully reflect the stressdistribution of the hydraulic support.Under the support of jincheng scientific and technological research program,taking the ZY12000/28/64D2-legs shield high cutting powered support asresearch subject, this article has analyzed the external load characteristics, teststandards and causes about damage of the hydraulic support, then, offered threeworking conditions as the analysis conditions:(1) The canopy beared theeccentric load and the base at both ends of the loading.(2) The canopy bearedthe torsional load and the base at both ends of the loading.(3) The canopybeared the eccentric load and the base beared the torsional load. This paper useda method combined Pro/E and ANSYS, the boundary conditions was the forceof the combination pad imposed to the hydraulic support in the differentconditions. Then, applied the force which the column applied to the beam andbase as an external force to the column cross section. And treat the contactproblems that exist in the hydraulic support structure by the contact method,complete the finite element strength analysis in the three conditions of thehydraulic. Through analysis on calculating results, the stress and strain laws ofthe ZY12000/28/64D2-legs shield high cutting powered support and the easy todamage position were obtained under the three working conditions. Accordingto the stress and strain laws, the structure was modified rationally. The finite element analysis of the modified structure of hydraulic support had been done.The results showed that the stress distribution of the modified support structurehad been greatly improved and also provided the theoretical basis for the designof the ZY12000/28/64D hydraulic support. We can apply the method to thedesign phase of the hydraulic support, so as to reduce the failure rate in theproduction and improve the safety in coal mine.
